Students from the University of Ballarat streamed an epic series of paid concerts over Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights as part of its lighting and sound program. These were produced live from The Courthouse Theatre in Ballarat and featured original artists.

The concerts were all created using the recently launched publisher dashboard on PlayFi, which allows the publisher to create events, set ticket prices and start/stop the concert.

To get early access to artist accounts on PlayFi, use the access code kangatunes.

Last Sunday marked our first paid event broadcast live from a venue with an audience.
The Melbourne Piano Trio performed a special concert to celebrate Mother’s day 2012 in support of Breast Cancer Network Australia, which was well received by almost a thousand attendees in the audience.
The PlayFi crew were on-site with a video camera and on-stage microphones, all linked to a laptop backstage and uploaded to the Internet in real time.
This was a big milestone for the company and we look forward to future shows!
